Nene suffered the injury with nearly five minutes left in the second quarter when he banged into the left leg of Jazz forward Carlos Boozer. Nene was helped off the court by trainer Jim Gillen and wasn't expected to return for the contest.

The Nuggets find themselves down 3-1 in the Western Conference quarterfinals and face a must-win situation tonight to push the series back to Salt Lake City on Friday.
