Jets sign McKnight, waive three others

06/22/2010 - Florham Park, NY (Sportsbook Betting Lines) - The New York Jets signed running back Joe McKnight, their fourth-round pick in the 2010 draft, to an undisclosed contract on Tuesday.

McKnight was a highly-touted recruit out of high school and showed signs of his ability throughout his three-year stint at Southern California when he wasn't nursing an injury.

The 5-foot-11, 194-pound speedster rushed for 2,213 yards and 13 touchdowns while recording 66 receptions for 542 yards in 36 games. He also returned two kickoffs for touchdowns.

The Jets also waived kicker Jared Ballman, safety Brannon Condren and defensive tackle Mick Williams on Tuesday.

If Owens is the number two receiver, it means Bryant can’t live up to his past numbers and the Bengals are still limited in the passing game.
